Looking for a place to show all of the relevant information on WealthCharts the moment you log in?
Introducing: Home Page
When you first load up WealthCharts, you may be greeted with the Home Page. The Home Page is one component that consists of a collection of things.
Popular Stocks:
In this area, you will see the current price and the monthly percent change for popular stocks. Popular stocks like AAPL, TSLA, NVDA, and more will show in this area if you don't have a "My Favorites" Watchlist set up with your own instruments. If you do have a My Favorites Watchlist set up, then the instruments in that list will appear in the Popular Stocks area so this way your favorite instruments are the first to be displayed and read! Clicking on a instrument will open a chart.
Recent WealthThoughts:
View recent WealthThoughts from other WealthCharters in this area!
From top to bottom, each post shows:
Post Title: Members can call this whatever they like! Most of the time they relate it to what their WealthThought post is about.
Timestamp: See how long ago the WealthThought was posted!
Chart: Guess what? You can interact with that chart. By clicking on the chart thumbnail it will open the whole post. (See image below for a post example)
Member: See the username and profile picture of the member who posted the WealthThought.
Follow/Unfollow: Like what you see? Follow the WealthCharts member to see more of their posts! If you have accumulated a list of members you have followed, be sure to head over to the My Feed section located at the top of WealthThoughts. This will show you all posts that your followed members have made.
Description: This shows you more details about what the member posted with their WealthThought. However, if the description reached a certain limit, an elipses (...) will appear at the end. Open the WealthThought to view the full description.
Ongoing Livestream:
This area will show you the current Livestream airing. To the right of the video player, it will display the title and description of the event! If there is no Livestream, this area will not be displayed in the Home Page.
Upcoming Events:
This section displays the upcoming WealthCharts Events that are happening in the Livestream! It will display the date, time, the title of the event, and then details of what the class is. Clicking on an event will open up the Livestream component. If you select an event that has not happened yet, the Livestream component will just display a recording of the last event.
Relevant News for You:
This area shows you popular and important Institutional News articles that may be related to the stocks of your choosing in the Popular Stocks area! Clicking on an article will open the article with more information!
Tutorials:
This area displays the different tutorials you can access to learn more about the WealthCharts platform! Clicking on a video will prompt you to load a WealthChartsTV component with the video selected.
