Scanners

Each scanner is going to be laid out the same in the WealthCharts Mobile App, BUT it's the underlying signals that make a scanner unique and stand out!

To access Scanners, you will want to be on the Feature page. Tap on the 4 squares icon located at the bottom of your screen. After that, you will be taken to a menu with different features, including most of WealthCharts Scanners!

The top of each scanner will have some important information to help you sort and find the ideas you're looking for!

Back Button: This button will take you back to the last page you were on before you got to the scanner.

Scanner Title: This shows you which scanner you are currently operating off of.

Market Basket Dropdown: Selecting this button will create a dropdown menu allowing you to choose from other markets like the Dow Jones, Russell, and your own custom Watchlists!

Timeframe: Selecting this will change the results produced from the scanner when you tap on a symbol's row.

Sorting: This button allows you to sort the symbol list from A to Z or Z to A.

Filters: Each scanner should come with pre-built filters allowing you to see certain signals grouped together fast. If you are wanting to create your own filter all you need to do is tap the green "+Filter" button and you will be brought to a menu where you can give the filter a name and different conditions. Does you filter produce no results? Try changing the filter to be less strict to bring in more symbols in the list or change the market list you are operating off of.

Scanner rows:

Each row in the scanner will about 6 pieces of information. The company logo, ticker, company name, the last recorded price from the scanner, the Option Liquidating rating (1-5 stars) and the average Volume.

When you tap on a symbol's row, you will be taken to a screen that looks like the image below:

This is the area where you can see the scanner signals. As you can see there is the Volume, Option Liquidity, a 1 minute chart for quick reference, and then the scanner signals. Depending on the scanner, you will see signals like Bullish, Bearish, Neutral, and more! If you want to dive deeper into the technicals, tap the "Go to Chart" button at the center of the screen to be taken to that symbol's chart in the Chart Page.
