Apex's Broker Portfolio

The Broker Portfolio is a key feature designed to help traders monitor and manage their trades, orders, and accounts. This tool provides real-time updates on open positions, pending and completed orders, and an overview of all accounts linked to the trading platform. Let's break down the functionality of each tab in this feature:

1. Open Positions Tab

The Open Positions tab provides a snapshot of all active positions in the market. Traders can quickly assess their current standing, whether long or short on a particular asset. Key information available here includes:

Symbol: The instrument or asset being traded.

Account: Indicates the account that holds the position.

Qty: Quantity of the asset.

Direction: Whether the position is long (buy) or short (sell).

Cost Basis: The price at which the position was opened.

P/L: The current profit or loss of the position.

This tab allows you to monitor how each position is performing and serves as a key reference point for making strategic adjustments.

At the top of the Open Positions tab, you’ll find several important controls:

• Accounts Dropdown: This allows you to filter and view positions from a specific account, or to view all accounts at once. This is particularly useful if you are managing multiple trading accounts, as it provides flexibility in how you view your open trades.

• Flatten All Positions: This button instantly closes (or "flattens") all open positions in all accounts. This is a quick way to exit all trades in case you want to liquidate your holdings at once or react to significant market changes.

• Cancel All Orders: Clicking this will cancel all open orders across all accounts, including limit, stop, and other pending orders that have not yet been executed. This feature is helpful for removing orders that are no longer relevant to your strategy.

These controls offer convenience and flexibility, allowing you to make quick adjustments to your portfolio without navigating through multiple sections.

2. Orders Tab

Order ID: A unique identifier for the order.

Created Time: The date and time when the order was placed.

Last Updated: The last time the order was updated.

Order Type: Specifies the type of order (e.g., limit, market).

Qty Sent/Qty Done: The quantity requested and the portion of the order that has been filled.

Trigger Price: For limit orders, the price at which the order is triggered.

Fill Price: The price at which the order was filled.

Status: Shows the current status (active, completed, canceled, etc.).

This tab helps you manage all pending, completed, and canceled orders efficiently, providing control over execution strategy and performance monitoring.
