Dividends


The Dividends feature is a comprehensive tool for researching dividends in WealthCharts. Here, you can easily find out which are the best dividend-paying stocks out there, when stocks within your portfolio are expected to pay up, and what are the past and expected dividend numbers.

Here are some of the key pieces of information that you can learn in the Dividends tool:


Symbol - This column shows the different symbols that have entries. You can click the column header to sort the symbols alphabetically.


Announced – This is also known as the Declaration date when the management of the company announces when the next dividend payouts

will be taking place.


Ex Date – If a stock is purchased on or after this date, the dividends will only be payable to the seller of the stock.


Name – The full name of the stock/company.


Frequency – How often do dividends pay out for this company within each year. A value of 4 for example, represents quarterly, while 12 is monthly.


Dividend – How much is paid out per share owned.


Yield – A ratio of how much is paid out in dividends relative to the stock price. The higher the number here, the more lucrative this stock may be as an investment for dividends.


Record – This is the date when the company decides who are the investors that are to receive the dividend payouts for the current period.


Payable – The date when the dividend payout is supposed to take place.


Date & Symbol Filters

Symbol filters are available if you are looking for dividends data for a specific stock or watchlist, and date ranges can be adjusted, including future dates if you are looking for upcoming dividend payouts!
