Stock splits are rare, but when they do happen, it can be a big driving force for prices of the stock. WealthCharts offers a tool that will help you identify when past and future stock splits were to happen, as well as split ratios:
Here are the columns shown in the Splits component:
Symbol - This column shows the different symbols that have entries. You can click the column header to sort the symbols alphabetically.
Ex-Date - This column represents the executed date.
Exchange - This column displays the exchange that the security is traded on.
Name - This column shows the full company name of the entry.
Split Ratio - This column shows the amount of shares that will be issued in a ratio format.
Date Announced - This column shows the date of which the stock split was announced.
Recorded Data - This column shows the date of which the split was recorded.
Distribution Date - This column shows the date of when the split will be distributed.
Like many other research tools, Splits supports date range and symbol filters – here you can set a specific date range to be analyzed, including a future one, or a specific symbol that you may be looking for.
